A finely made vintage studio pottery flower pot decorated with a pale slate coloured glaze with a white bands.
Made by David Frith (born 1943) probably at the Brookhouse Pottery.
Impressed personal “DF” seal mark.

AULT Pottery VASE Aesthetic Movement c1890

A fine looking late Victorian British Art Pottery vase woth a globular shape with moulded three lobed pattern. Decorated with a green glaze and a running red.
Moulded makers marks on the underside.
Although underglaze, there is the HT monogram for Henry Tooth andfacsimile signature for Dr Christpher Dresser. Pattern number seems to read 397.
Usually seen in a smaller version – see bean tin for scale.

AESTHETIC Movement Art Pottery Vases

These are a pair of British Art Pottery vase decorated with crimson glazed tops and mottled multi-coloured running glazes.
Dating c1880-1890
Although unmarked – probably made by the Torquay Terracotta Co in Devon, who copied/acquired some the Dr Christopher Dresser patterns after Linthorpe Pottery closed.
Seen attributed to both Ault and Bretby.
