A mid century modern design Czech art glass vase made by Hermanova Glassworks. Designed c1965 by Frantisel Vizner (1936-2011) with a heavily moulded geometric pattern. Understood to be pattern number 20082 also known as the “Tetris” pattern by collectors.

A large and heavy mid century modern design glass vase by the Czech maker, Libochovice dating to c1965-1970. It has a robustly moulded pattern in a clear colour way. This pattern is known to have been designed by Frantisek Vizner in c1963 with the pattern number 3236/230/M.

A fine looking example of iredescent gllass dating from the Art Nouveau period. This piece was made by Leotz Witve c1900 from the Rusticana range, which has moulded tree trunk texture in a typical green coloured glass with the soft iredescent “Glatt” surface decoration.

A mid 1970’s Czech art glass vase by Prachen Glass from the “Flora” range designed by Frantisek Koudelka in 1973. This example has a dark purple colour over mottled pale blue colour within clear glass.

Höglund Art Glass – Vase – stock #12019

A stuuning original contemporary studio art glass vase by the Höglund Art Glass studio from New Zealand. This exampled is a vase with a flat ovoid shape decorated in pulled looping patterns in mainly blue to green colours.

Höglund Art Glass is created by Ola and Marie Höglund their work is internationally renowned and sought after by both public and private collectors worldwide. They have exhibited in more than 40 international exhibitions in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Indonesia, Taipei and Japan.

From 1978 to 1981 Ola and Marie spent three years in Swaziland (Africa) establishing Ngwenya Glassblowing Studio as a Swedish government development project. In 1982 they moved to New Zealand, choosing to become citizens. Today they share their time between New Zealand and Australia.The success in 2000 led to the next prestigious invitation; to create the art glass for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games – The Games of the New Millennium. Ola and Marie designed a collection of bright and colourful art glass for this exciting event.
