Decorated with moulded flower garlands.
Stamped makers marks.
It would have had a glass liner – now missing.

A lovely Powell Whites glass footed bowl with a wavy ribbed pattern and in a pale “Sea Green” colourway. These were designed by William Butler in the 1920s and made through the 1930s. Recorded as pattern number 7170.
Illustrated in “Whitefriars Glass The Art of James Powell & Sons” by Lesley Jackson. Page 115 Plate 84. Shown in the 1938 Sales Catalogue as being made in 5 sizes, this is the second largest.
