Copper Plate by HUGH WALLIS

A fine looking inter wars period handmade copper plate or card tray decorated with a tinned pattern of a thistleflower head and leaves in an arts and crafts meets art deco style. Stamped HW makers mark on the underside.

Designed by and made in the Altrincham workshop of artist Hugh Wallis (1871-1943)

Stamped HW monogram on the underside.

Condition –
No breaks or restorations.
Wear to the original patina and lacquer.
Tinning looking to be in good condition.
Vintage item with some evidence of use and wear.
