BORKSE SKLO Bronze & Gold Cylinder VASE
A fine looking mid century modern design art glass vase made by the Czech company Borske Sklo c1960. It has a tall tapering cylinder shape in a bronze coloured glass with painted gold and white bands.
No maker’s marks or labels.

LANGLEY WARE Sapphire Blue Glazed Vase c1930
A fine looking stoneware pottery flowers vase decorated with a rich mottle blue glaze below a mottled brown glaze around the top rim.
Impressed and printed marks on the underside “Made in England”
This impressed mark was used by Lovatts Langley pottery in the early 1930s. When this colour was know as “sapphire” blue.

A charming vintage retro pottery money box in the shape of a Puffer Fish – delightful
Decorated with a moulded leaf like pattern under mottled brown and grey glazes. Original stopper.
Although unmarked, I am sure that it was made by the Broadstairs Pottery in the 1970s.
