A stuuning original contemporary studio art glass vase by the Höglund Art Glass studio from New Zealand. This exampled is a vase with a flat ovoid shape decorated with a feathered patterns in mainly blue with gold colours.

Höglund Art Glass is created by Ola and Marie Höglund their work is internationally renowned and sought after by both public and private collectors worldwide. They have exhibited in more than 40 international exhibitions in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Indonesia, Taipei and Japan.

From 1978 to 1981 Ola and Marie spent three years in Swaziland (Africa) establishing Ngwenya Glassblowing Studio as a Swedish government development project. In 1982 they moved to New Zealand, choosing to become citizens. Today they share their time between New Zealand and Australia.The success in 2000 led to the next prestigious invitation; to create the art glass for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games – The Games of the New Millennium. Ola and Marie designed a collection of bright and colourful art glass for this exciting event.

A vintage studio glass scent perfume bottle with stopper. This was made at the Micheal Harris Isle of Wight Glass Studio and from a the Golden Peacock range of wears. I think this version is White Golden Peacock. It has a squet onion shape with lollipop stopper decorated with range amber colored glass under gold leaf decoration.

A Gordon Russell of Broadway mid century modern design sideboard cabinet dating to the mid 1950s. Similar in size and proportion and with the same handles as the Helix Cabinet. Double doors and two draws.

Crown Ducal Jug – Charlotte Rhead

Crown Ducal – Charlotte Rhead Byzantine Ewer – stock #33318

A fine looking art deco design art pottery ewer made by Crown Ducal and designed by Charlotte Rhead with stylised flowers and leaves in yellow, orange, blue amd greem on a stimpled orange back ground glaze. This example is decorated with the “Byzantine” pattern which was in production from c1933.

Marked on the underside with a printed makers mark of “Crown Ducal England” under a crown. This mark was in use from c1932 until c1938. Also signed with a tubelined “Rhead” signature.
