A great looking larger than most Venetian Murano Glass Sommerso type facet cut jewel glass vase dating to c1970. This example has a purple inner with a thin layer of amber within clear colourway. These sommerso type vase are often attributed to the designer Flavio Poli (1900-1984)

Gordon Russell – Dish

Gordon Russell – Copper Dish c1928 – stock #52920

An early 20th century copper trinket dish of a shallow shape deorcated with a simple punched pattern over a hammered texture surface. An arts and crafts meet art deco feel. Marked on the underside “RW Ltd” for “Russell Workshops Ltd”.

It is recorded that Russell and Sons Ltd changed its name to Russell Workshops Ltd on 4th November 1927, and then to Gordon Russell Ltd on 28th September 1929 dating this bowl to a very precise production date.

Liberty & Co – Tudric Pewter Tankard 053 – stock #13320

An early 20th century pewter tankard made to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII in 1902. Retailed by Liberty & Co as part of their Tudric Range of art pewter wares. Most likely designed by Archibald Knox (1864-1933)

It is decorated with a Coat of Arms for the Orde of the Garter and has “EDW VII Rec Coronat0 Carolus Scarisbrick In Memoriam ME DD” embossed around the top rim.
