A Mexican studio pottery salt and pepper pot set decorated in the typical “Tonala” style with rich brown and speckled grey glazes. The salt is decorated with the moon and the pepper as the sun.

Signed on the underside “Mexico Z”

Glazes similar to those used by the Ken Edwards Pottery

Painted on the underside.

Condition –
No cracks or repairs. A couple of small chips around the holes.
Vintage item with some but minimal evidence of use.
