An oval format with a Girl with a Borzoi dog waving good bye on a breezy seafront frame in it’s original oval frame.

Here is a good example of Monart Art Glass as made by the Ysart damily of glass blowers for the Moncrieff Glassworks c1930. These bubble vases are rarely seen and of those, two colour examples are scarce.This example has a pale green colour over a pale violet. Pale blue (pattern 170) is a typical colour seen.

This shape GC and size VI and colour code by around number 170.

A very good example of art glass from the VASART glassworks of the Ysart family of glass blower. This example combines orange and pink glass in a typical Monart swirls pattern. Even the shape is similar to those they made at Moncrieff’s. Possibly suggests an early date for this one; c1948.

The underside is neatly finished with an applied button which is grund but not polished. Etched marks.

An art deco design French bronze medal by the artist Maurice Delannoy (1885-1972) with the wreath on the back designed by H Dubois. The design is probably Demeter, the goddess of the harvest.

A fine dry point etching of a boy playing on a pile of sand. His 57th published plate issued in an edition of 75 proofs.Presented mounted. Currently unframed.

An original dry point etching with colour of a 1920′s art deco girl by the French art Charles Naillod (1876-1956). Signed in pencil and presented in a period carved gilt oval frame. Dates to the early 1920′s.

Charles Naillod (1876-1941) was a French painter printmaker who specialised in creating “boudoir style” art similar to the made popular by Maurice Milliere and Louis Icart.
