Angel Wall Plaque – W.M.F c1905 – stock #6613

A fine quality art nouveau design Britannia metal wall plate made by the German firm WMF c1905. It has a moulded design number 305A on the back together with stamped factory marks.

Excellent condition. Original silver plate with only minor wear.

Silver Plated Casket – WMF – stock #5813

A fine Secession style silver plated casket made the the German firm Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (W.M.F) c1910. It is decorated with a hammered finish and has a ivory or bone finial.

Stamped makers marks on the underside, including; 1/0 for ordinary quality plate and OX to confirm an oxidised finish (the tarnishing you see in the pictures)

Casket c1910 – W.M.F – stock #5913

A fine Secession style brass casket made by the German firm Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (W.M.F) c1910. It is decorated with a hammered finish and has a ivory or bone finial.

Stamped makers marks on the underside without plate or finish marks confirming that this was always a brass casket.

WMF – Wall Plaque – stock #3513

A good quality original silver plated pewter wall plaque by the Germna firm WMF. Designed in a jugendstil art nouveau style with a pretty maidens head. Wall hanging hook on back to differentiate it from the visiting card tray variant.

Moulded design number 279A on back but no visable makers marks.

A fine quality Britiannia Metal cardial beaker decorated with a design of irises, acorns and a female deer. Made by the German firm WMF c1900.

Very good condition as most of the original silver plating survives.

Albert Köhler & Cie – WMF Card Tray – stock #70412

A stunning art nouveau pewter visiting card tray, decorated with a maiden looking into the setting sun.

Made by the Austrian firm Albert Köhler & Cie c1905. They were bought by the German firm WMF c1900 and their mark continued to used for wares sold in the Austro-Hungarian market until c1914. This design is listed in the 1905 WMF catalogue as a Visiting Card Tray design number 194.
