Osiris Pewter – Fruit Bowl – stock #3413
A super quality German jugendstil design silver plated pewter bowl. Designed in a organic form with pierced border panels of stylised trees.
“Osiris Metallwarenfabrik für Kleinkunst” was a range of art metal ware manufactured by Walter Scherf & Co. This Nürnberg based firm was establsied in 1899 by Friedich August Scherf (1839-1922) and Walter Scherf (1875 –1909). It closed in 1909. Designers include; Friedrich ADLER (1878-1942) and Joseph Maria OLBRICH (1867-1908).
