An impressive early Radford Pottery Burslem period art deco design art pottery ewer decorated with a brightly coloured poppy design with a mottled green background colour. Most likely designed by Mabel Hadgkiss NRD, who had been trained by Gordon Forsyth at the Burslem School of Art.
Hand painted. Fully marked on the underside.

Usual crazing to the glaze.
