Royal Doulton – Geo Moreland Seriesware Plates – stock #40817

A super pair of early Royal Doulton Geo Moreland seriesware plates dating to 1902 decorated with illustrations of a lady riding with a pack of hounds together with it’s companian of a gentleman hunter riding with a pack of hounds.

Printed and impressed makers marks on the backs. Impressed date marks for 1902. Excellent condition for age. A few tiny firing glaze faults on the rims and wear to the rim gilding.

DOULTON LAMBETH Ewer – c1870 Arthur Barlow – stock #5417

An unusual and very early Doulton Lambeth stoneware ewer dating to c1870. It is decorated with an incised pattern of birds and grass on a pale stoneware and coloured with a blue wash.

Impressed “Doulton Lambeth” on the underside. No artist marks or monogram. Mostly likely decorated by Arthur Barlow or one of his sisters; Hannah Barlow or Florence Barlow.

Doulton Lambeth – Faience Vase

Doulton Lambeth Faience – Grape vine – stock #10916

A stunning original art nouveau design Doulton Lambeth faience vase decorated with a stylised entwined grapes on a vine pattern with a pale blue grey background. Handpainted and signed with a monogram on the underside which reads as HKM or similar.

The round mark with “England” would suggest a date of c1895.
