Glasgow School Brass Tray – Attr Margaret Gilmour – stock #31818
An early 20th century arts and crafts Glasgow School influence brass tray decorated with a repousse pattern of stylised Pomegranates and leaves in two panels. A quality tray with a neatly made construction c1905.
This example is unsiged but similat to examples attributed to the Glasgow School artist, Margaret Gilmour (1863-1942). Also similar to the trays used by the artist Marion Henderson Wilson (1869-1956).
