WMF Pewter Art Nouveau Inkwell – stock #52718
An art nouveau period and design double inkwell made by the German firm, WMF c1914. It has a simple jugendstil secessionist pattern and mounted with a pewter statue of a Girl sewing seeds.
Stamped marks on the back – SEE pictures. They have used the rarely seen “WEPCO” mark which dates this to about 1914. This mark was used for exports to English speaking countries.

|Stamped on the back.||Presented polished. Mainly pewter with some original silvering on the underside.Some bends and indents and pitting. Figure partially plated with some flaking. NO inkwell liners. Vintage item with some but minimal evidence of use.
