MYOTT SON & Co – JUG Pattern H8290 – stock #6918

A super original pottery jug made by the British firm, Myott Son & Co and dating to the mid 1930’s. It has a modern shape with angular handle and spout and decorated with a hand painted orange, yellow, black and brown banded pattern with a honeyglaze interior.

Printed gilt factory mark on the underside together with pattern number H8290.

Printed factory mark on the underside together with pattern/shape number 195/734k and signed AE. This printed mark was in use for a long time and difficult to date.
