Murano Glass – Alabastro Duck

Murano Glass – Alabastro Duck – stock #45618

An impressive large scale multi coloured Murano glass “alabastro” duck in a “lif off” into flight pose on a dome shaped base. Made in an opalescent glass graduating from a white base through a pale jade green , then blue and back to a white beak. This style of glass and the bird are associated with the Italian Glass maker, Archimede Seguso on Murano.

Although, no signature or labels, this bird was mostly likely made by Seguso and would date to the 1970’s.
