A fine looking Loetz art glass vase dating to the c1900 with a tall onion shaped form with wide flat frilled top rim. Similar to the shapes designed for Max Emanuel, London and attributed to the designer, Dr Christopher Dresser. It has a pale blue glass with luminous and translucent spot green “Diana” spotted ground with matte iridescence coloured top rim. From a range of art glass called Diana Ozone Ciselé that was in production from c1899.

Unmarked – Hollow ground and polished pontil on the underside.

A fine looking Loetz art glass vase dating to the c1900 with a squared dimples shaped form with wide flat top rim and vertical ribbing to the neck. Similar to the shapes designed for Max Emanuel, London and attributed to the designer, Dr Christopher Dresser. It has a very pale green, luminous and translucent ground with matte iridescence colour. From a range of art glass called Olympia Glatt that was in production from c1896.

A fine looking mid century modern art glass vase designed by Milan Metelak for the Czech / Bohemian glass maker, Harrachov. This example was designed in the late 1960’s and has a green within clear colourway and decorated with graduated bubbles with mica inclusions. Illustrated in on page 55 of the reference book “Hi Sklo Lo Sklo” by Mark Hill.

Excellent condition with only minor evidence of use.

Skrdlovice Vase – stock #67316

An impressive mid century modern design art glass vase made by the Czech / Bohemian maker; Skrdlovice during the mid 1960’s. This example has pale blue colour within a very pale pinky tan coloured body decorated with hot work modelling.

Most likely designed by Jan Beranek as it is similr to a group of vases illustrated in the 1965 Czech Glass Review.
