Decorated with leaf and berry design with a alternating band to rim. Raised on 3 round dome feet.

Boy and Goat - Art Pottery Figure
Stock #54409

This is a cast pottery figure of a boy and goat. He is draped in a yellow shawl and holding a garland of flowers whilst the goat is looking lovingly into his eyes.

Marked with an impressed B on the underside. I have not been able to trace the artist who made this figure. It is hollow cast which suggests that a number were made and has the feel of something made c1900/10.

William Ruscoe - Pottery Figure
Stock #45509

   


This is an interesting art pottery figure by the artist and teacher William Ruscoe 1904-90. He had art studied under Gordon M. Forsyth and worked; as an assistant at Burslem School of Art (1938 -1942), an instructor in the practical side of pottery at the Royal College of Art (1939 -1940), master-in-charge at Stoke School of Art (1942 -1944) and lecturer at the College of Art, Exeter, until his retirement.

Duchess of Sutherlands Cripples Guild

A fine example of arts and crafts metalworking from this charitable workshop. A silver plate on copper bowl decorated with a chased design. Hand beaten with planishing marks.

M Blyth - Pottery Sculpture

This is an art pottery model of two Pelicans dating to the 1930's signed M Blyth.
It is hollow cast, so more than one would have been made. I have seen and owned other models by this artist but have been unable to trace any biographical information.
