Rowley Gallery

The Rowley Gallery were art retailers and furniture manufacturer who specialised in marquetry decoration.

They employed important designers such as:
Sir Frank Brangwyn
William A Chase
Henry Butler

Much of there work that is seen today are mirror and wall plaques that contain these marquetry panel. Their product are usually stamp in the bottom right corner of the panels with "Rowley Kensington" and usual there is a paper label on the reverse. I have also had a print with a Rowley Gallery label which suggests that they also retailed works of art.

This is an extra large Rowley Gallery marquetry panel.
It is a design of a flower girl holding a basket and was probably designed by W A Chase c1920.
