She was a painter and animal sculptor. She studied at the LCC
Central School of Arts and Crafts 1916-22 and the Royal College of Art 1922-23.
She lived in West Kirby , Cheshire in 1925, Norsey Wood Billericay Essex
in 1925-1935 and Ilford Essex in 1932.
She was an Associate member of the Royal Miniature Society
from 1925 and Society of Women Artists in 1925 being elected a full member
in1927.

Also exhibited in Paris in 1925 winning awards for both her
exhibit and her "pottery instruction" . She exhibited at the Belmont Galleries,
New Pork in c1926. Her works were in public collections within her own life time
including in the Milan Museum of Decorative Arts, Victoria and Albert Museum,
Manchester City Art Gallery and Hanley Museum. Her work was subject to articles
and comment in contemporary publications such as the Town and Country News 1926,
The Observer 1925, Sunday Times 1926, The Pottery Gazette 1926, The Studio 1925,
Daily New 1926, Morning Post 1926 and Our Dogs 1934
Known to have produced designs for Royal
Worcester similar to her own products. I
The models she produced made
in semi porcelain and stoneware. She seems to have specialised in dogs some of
them pets portraits that were sculptured in their own homes, naturally at a
reasonable rate.
