Veazey, David

metalwork designer, including for Liberty & Co. Best remembered for his "For Old Times Sake" designs.

Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857 - 1941)

Architect articled to J P Seddon in1874, he established his own architectural and design practice in 1882. He was a member of the Art Workers' Guild from 1884 and Master in 1924. He was elected a fellow of the RIBA in 1929, Royal Designer for Industry in 1936 and was awarded a Royal Gold Medal by the RIBA in 1940.

Upto c1914 he designed a large number of private houses which usually included the furniture and interior decorations but he neverdesigned a Public building. He designed wallpaper, textiles, ceramics, tiles, metal work and furinture. He worked for meny firms including;
furniture made by F C Neilson,
fireplaces by Longden & Co and Geo Wright Ltd,
lighting for Bainbridge Reynolds Ltd.
Tile and ceramic designs for Pilkington.
