An early 20th century pewter tankard made to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII in 1902. Retailed by Liberty & Co as part of their Tudric Range of art pewter wares. Most likely designed by Archibald Knox (1864-1933)

It is decorated with a Coat of Arms for the Orde of the Garter and has “EDW VII Rec Coronat0 Carolus Scarisbrick In Memoriam ME DD” embossed around the top rim.

Stamped “Tudric 053” Patinated grey from age. Wear to the coat of arms. Not exactly round and with dents and bends – SEE picture.
